St Matthew’s Anglican Church has stood in the heart of Windsor for generations. Not as a place for perfect people, but as a place where ordinary people can pause, reflect, and explore life’s bigger questions.

 

What to expect in 60 seconds
(If you’re short on time, this is the simple version.)
  • The service lasts about an hour
  • The building is old, beautiful, and peaceful
  • There is music, Bible readings, prayers, and a short talk
  • You can join in as much or as little as you like
  • Many people just sit quietly and take it in
  • No one will draw attention to you as a visitor

You don’t need to know what to do — and you won’t get it wrong.

We know walking into a church can feel daunting. Here’s what you can expect at St Matthew’s:
  • You can sit wherever you like
  • No one will make you stand up or speak
  • You won’t be asked for money
  • You don’t need to know when to sit or stand — just follow along or remain seated
  • You are free to leave at any time

Some people participate. Others just listen. Both are completely fine.

What kind of church is St Matthew’s?
St Matthew’s is an Anglican church — which means our services are grounded, thoughtful, and shaped by centuries of Christian faith.

Sunday services at St Matthew’s, Windsor: - 9:00am — Traditional Anglican service

You are welcome to arrive a few minutes early or slip in quietly. There is no expectation to stay afterwards, though you are always welcome to.

If you are not able to attend on Sunday or would prefer to start off with a smaller service, our mid-week services are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 10am.
