At St Matthew's we believe the Bible reveals who Jesus is and so we provide Bible based teaching to help us understand what it means to be a Christian, to grow in faith and to inspire us to live better lives.

A friendly service for the whole family with a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary christian worship songs, supported by the St Matthew's pipe organ and other instruments. Morning tea follows the service. Children and families welcome.

Bible Study Tue 6pm

You are warmly invited to join our weekly Bible Study. This is a relaxed, welcoming gathering where people come together to explore God’s Word, ask questions, and grow in faith; at whatever stage of the journey they are on.

Mid-week (10am)

On the first and third Wednesday of the month, we hold a shortened Traditional Holy Communion Service with a special focus on the aged and weary and anyone who finds it hard to get to church on Sundays.

Who are we?

St Matthew’s is a welcoming Sydney Anglican church in the heart of Windsor. Together, we desire to give people a quiet space to honestly explore faith. We are evangelical in theology, Bible-centred in our teaching, and joyful in our reliance on Jesus. Gathering in Australia’s oldest church building, we are striving to build a congregation of all ages growing in reverence, community, and service. When all these work together, we believe we can be a church that brings glory to God and hope to the Hawkesbury region.
