IMPORTANT NOTE: SINCE MARCH 2020 COVID HAS IMPACTED OUR NORMAL OPERATIONS. WE HAVE ONE SERVICE ONLY AT 9AM ON SUNDAY WHICH IS FAMILY COMMUNION. WE HAVE SERVICES ONLINE. YOU CAN ACCESS THESE FROM THE VIMEO BUTTON ON OUR HOMEPAGE.
CHRISTMAS SERVICES ARE 11PM CHRISTMAS EVE AND 9AM CHRISTMAS DAY.
Our church gatherings are the focal point of our worship together. There is a choice of three services on a Sunday to cater for differing needs and preferences.
In addition to our Sunday gatherings, we also offer a mid-week Holy Communion Service on the first Wednesday of the month.
You are welcome to attend the service that suits you best. You will receive a warm welcome when you come to any of our services.
A traditional Anglican service (AAPB) with Holy Communion, supported by the St Matthew's pipe organ. The service is followed by morning tea.
A special combined service is held on the fifth Sunday of the month.
A friendly service for the whole family with a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary christian worship songs, supported by the St Matthew's pipe organ and other instruments. Each service is based on a contemporary Anglican liturgy. Holy Communion is held on the first Sunday of the month. Morning tea follows the service. An age appropriate program is provided during term time for school age children.
This is a very informal gathering. We meet in the Parish Centre. We meet around a meal at the cost of a small donation. We have a bible talk and meal and pray for one another and the work of our church.
On the first Wednesday of the month, we hold a shortened Traditional Holy Communion Service with a special focus on the aged and weary and anyone who finds it hard to get to church on Sundays. Morning Tea follows the service.
